Wedding Cruises

There are many cruise lines that offer wedding as well as honeymoon cruises. The bottom line with cruise ships, though, is what you want and how much you are willing to pay. Cruises offer no shortage of amazing destinations: the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, China – you name it!

With the Internet, booking a wedding or a honeymoon cruise is much easier than it used to be. You can find lots of packages for all sorts of budgets. One of the best websites is Prices can range from $400 to $2,500, and in most cases, with cruises, you can decide to have the wedding on the boat or at one of the stops on your cruise holiday.

If you do have the wedding on the boat, usually the cruise line takes care of everything for you. You just get to relax and enjoy those martinis by the pool.

Carnival Cruise Lines offers an array of destination/island weddings, such as Maui, New York, San Juan, and Catalina Islands.

If you decide upon an on-board wedding with Carnival, a lot of the work is taken care of for you. For $750, the cruise takes care of the ceremony (performed by a non-denominational official), the bridal bouquet, sparkling wine, complementary champagne flutes, the wedding cake with free cake topper, cake cutting service, and the champagne toast. Unfortunately, though, this doesn’t include photos or the price of the cruise itself.

Moreover, the ceremony can only be performed in certain places for legal reasons. Even though this wedding doesn’t include some things, many people suggest it to be one of the best possible life experiences and one that’s not to be missed.

Carnival isn’t the only cruise line in the wedding business. Princess cruise lines offers a great package where you get married at sea by the resorts captain, and you can also have it broadcast over the internet for your guests who can’t make it. Princess offers seven-day packages to the Caribbean and a romantic Alaskan glacier wedding.

No matter what you decide upon, a cruise wedding can be whatever you want it to be without a lot of the stress associated with weddings.

Cruise weddings can be as big or small as you want them to be, and they also offer an exotic location with rest and relaxation.  It may be just the thing for you.
